Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 2 years of experience working in a consumer electronics/embedded systems design technical environment, or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree.
- Ability to travel internationally up to 10% of the time.
- Master's degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, or a related field.
- Experience with embedded systems, processor selection, various communication protocols (especially DRAM, UFS, USB-C, SPI, I2C/I3C, UART, MIPI, DSI/CSI), analog design, sensor design, low power design, audio acoustics, Cadence/Allegro, and various RF technologies.
- Experience in prototype bring‑up and debugging, functional verification, and python scripting.
- Experience with SOC architecture and validation.
- Familiarity with concepts like concurrency, Dynamic Voltage and Frequency Scaling (DVFS), and peripheral interfaces.
- Ability to design high-speed digital or analog systems.

The US base salary range for this full‑time position is $126,000–$181,000 plus bonus, equity, and benefits. Responsibilities- Ensure hardware design integrity for Google Pixel platforms by validating SoC Dynamic Voltage and Frequency Scaling (DVFS) and peripheral I/O across various operating system (OS) and firmware (FW) versions.
- Direct cross‑functional execution of validation plans, troubleshooting, and documentation to maintain design quality and ecosystem performance.
- Execute design verification, signal characterization, power delivery, and interoperability testing while defining system‑level validation plans for the Pixel ecosystem.
- Work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams to resolve issues in hardware architecture, system performance, production quality, and overall integration.
