Commodity Managers work with Engineering teams to make sure Google has the supplies and equipment to put into production the innovative products coming from our Engineering teams.

As a Commodity Manager, you use your wide industry knowledge and strategic supplier relationships to optimize our total cost of ownership for our global -- and growing -- infrastructure.

The Strategic Partnerships and Relationships team within Google’s Custom Silicon team is responsible for seeking, negotiating, and closing new opportunities with Google's silicon, IP and technology partners. With your technical, business acumen and industry knowledge, you will interface between Google partners and internal cross-functional teams, and help them find ways to develop and scale Google's custom SoCs.

Your knowledge of relevant verticals with key industry players in the semiconductor Third-Party IP (3

PIP) space, including: ARM, GPU, CPU, and Risc V, will help shape our custom SoCs.

As a Strategic Partnerships Manager for 3

PIP, you will work closely with operations, finance, legal, procurement, product management, and engineering counterparts across Pixel phones, wearables, hearables and other categories of hardware to drive alliances, development projects, deals, and relationships.

In this role, you will focus on the relationships that enable technology development, technological and business innovation, cost reduction, revenue and margin enhancement, and business growth. The team partners with cross-functional leaders to develop relationships and engagement strategies. The team also develops and maintains ongoing relationships with external partners throughout project execution and operation.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $174,000-$258,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
