Minimum qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience working in an electrical, audio, or acoustic engineering technical environment, or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree.
  • Experience with audio or noise, vibration, harshness (NVH) test and analysis systems (e.g., Polytec LDV, Soundcheck, B&K Connect, and Artemis).
Preferred qualifications
  • Master's degree or PhD degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, physics, or a related field.
  • Experience with noise, vibration testing, and data analysis.
  • Knowledge in acoustic noise from electronic components such as capacitors and inductors.

The US base salary range for this full‑time position is $132,000–$189,000 plus bonus, equity, and benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job‑related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
  • Design Google's products by owning architecture, design, and validation.
  • Work with cross‑functional teams (e.g., software, product design, industrial design, program management, operations, and finance) to deliver a product to market.
  • Plan and lead validation of designs.
  • Bring designs to production by setting factory test requirements.
  • Focus on eNoise mitigation, vibration optimization, failure analysis, and factory and production support.
