We are looking for an experienced Hardware Lead with strong expertise in Automotive Infotainment and Telematics systems. The candidate will lead hardware design and development activities including schematics, BOM management, component selection, and product validation for next-generation connected vehicle platforms.
Key Responsibilities- Lead end-to-end hardware development for Infotainment and Telematics ECU projects.
- Drive hardware architecture definition, design reviews, and technical decision‑making.
- Develop and review schematics, BOM, and hardware design documentation.
- Work on PCB design support, component selection, and hardware integration activities.
- Support WCX/CCA documentation, change control, and configuration management processes.
- Coordinate with cross‑functional teams including software, mechanical, validation, and manufacturing teams.
- Manage hardware bring‑up, debugging, testing, and issue resolution activities.
- Ensure compliance with automotive standards related to EMC/EMI, ESD, thermal, reliability, and safety.
- Support high‑speed interfaces and communication technologies such as CAN, LIN, Ethernet, USB, PCIe, Wi‑Fi, Bluetooth, GNSS, and LTE/5G.
- Perform schematic reviews, design validation, and root cause analysis for hardware issues.
- Manage BOM release, engineering changes, and supplier coordination activities.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership across projects.
- Participate in customer discussions, technical reviews, and project planning activities.
- Strong experience in Automotive Infotainment and Telematics hardware development.
- Hands‑on experience in hardware schematic design and BOM management.
- Good knowledge of WCX/CCA documentation and automotive hardware release processes.
- Experience with hardware design tools and schematic capture tools.
- Knowledge of CAN, LIN, Ethernet, USB, PCIe, Bluetooth, Wi‑Fi, and GNSS technologies.
- Strong understanding of automotive ECU architecture and embedded hardware systems.
- Experience with PCB design review, signal integrity, and power distribution concepts.
- Familiarity with EMC/EMI and automotive validation standards.
- Ability to troubleshoot hardware‑related issues using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and debugging tools.
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Electronics, Electrical, Embedded Systems, or related field.
- Experience with OEM/Tier‑1 automotive projects preferred.
- Knowledge of ASPICE, Functional Safety (ISO 26262), and Automotive Cybersecurity concepts is an advantage.
