You’ll Be Doing (Responsibilities)
- Lead all aspects of systems engineering for sensors and embedded platforms, from requirements to integration.
- Own subsystem‑level strategy and influence platform‑wide decisions.
- Develop and maintain technical specifications, requirements, and interface definitions.
- Drive architectural reviews and enforce best practices for embedded development.
- Collaborate across hardware, software, and test teams to ensure seamless integration.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team capability building.
- Communicate technical concepts effectively to stakeholders at all levels.
- 3+ years of experience in systems engineering, embedded systems, or sensor integration.
- Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field or relevant work experience.
- Strong understanding of system engineering processes, V‑Model, and safety‑critical design principles.
- Experience in one or more of our key technology areas: sensor platforms, operating systems, or middleware.
- Excellent problem‑solving and communication skills.
- 5+ years of experience in systems engineering, embedded systems, or sensor integration.
- Familiarity with ISO 26262 and functional safety standards.
- Ability to read/understand source code (C/C++) and system models.
- Knowledge of automotive communication protocols (CAN, LIN, Ethernet).
- Experience in product release and specification processes.
This role is categorized as hybrid. This means the selected candidate is expected to report to a specific location at least 3 times a week (or other frequency dictated by their manager). The selected candidate will be required to travel
