We are looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer for low-voltage vehicle platform development, with a strong background in automotive systems and 12V architecture.
The ideal candidate brings expertise in power circuit design, DC-DC converters, battery systems, and functional safety standards like ISO 26262.
* Background in the automotive field.
* Understanding of requirements for Level 4 low-voltage (LV) power systems; strong knowledge of 12V architectures.
* Skilled in electrical and power circuit design, especially crafting input stages for LV modules using 12V sources.
* Familiarity with components like DC-DC converters, 12V battery systems, and charge management circuitry.
* Exposure to functional safety frameworks, particularly ISO 26262, as applied to power systems.
* Capable of drafting and structuring technical requirement documents.
* Able to conduct deep technical analysis and evaluate tradeoffs in engineering decisions.
* Proficient in interpreting test outcomes and collaborating closely with test engineering personnel.
* Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
* Effective team collaborator and cross-functional partner.
* Proficiency in tools such as Python, Matlab and SQL - hands-on experience with coding, particularly in Python and Matlab environments.

Pluses:
* Prior collaboration with Tier 1 suppliers or OEMs on vehicle integration and automotive product development.
* Ability to construct SQL queries (e.g., experience with Dremel or F1 systems).
* Exposure to electrochemical principles in battery tech or experience modeling battery behavior.
* Familiar with verification and validation processes specific to LV systems.
* Participated in LV power budgeting efforts during vehicle program execution.
Salary Range: $100,000-$130,000 a year
