Senior Hardware Validation Engineer

The Senior Hardware Validation Engineer at Aurora is responsible for leading the electrical validation of printed circuit board assemblies and system-level testing to ensure product reliability and safety, collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop validation strategies and resolve field issues.

• Serve as the hands-on technical lead for PCBA design validation, module, and system-level validation.
• Drive sustaining engineering efforts, including root cause analysis and corrective actions for field issues.
• Develop hardware validation strategies and test plans to ensure product quality and design compliance.
• Execute electrical system-level validation to identify and resolve design issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Hardware Systems, Safety, Test, and Electrical Engineering.

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (EE) or a related field.
• At least 5 years of relevant work experience in PCBA electrical validation.
• Expertise in PCBA electrical validation, including both module and system-level validation across power regulation, low-speed and high-speed interfaces, compute, memory, and sensors.
• Demonstrated experience with board bring-up, fault injection testing, and system level validation.
• Proven experience in technical leadership roles.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a proven ability to influence stakeholders.
