We are seeking a highly skilled and meticulous Electromechanical Assembly Technician to join our Engineering Technical Services team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in the assembly, testing, and troubleshooting of complex, precision electro-mechanical systems. This role is critical in ensuring the quality and functionality of our cutting‑edge products, involving hands‑on work with tight tolerance components, electrical wiring, and advanced testing equipment.
Preferred Qualifications- Proven experience in electromechanical assembly, preferably with high‑precision or tight‑tolerance systems.
- Strong technical proficiency in reading and interpreting detailed engineering documentation (blueprints, schematics).
- Demonstrated expertise in soldering and electrical wiring techniques.
- Familiarity with standard test equipment such as oscilloscopes and electronic voltmeters.
- Experience with process improvement, jig/fixture design, or manufacturing efficiency projects is a plus.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong manual dexterity.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a technical team.
- Assembly of precision electro/mechanical systems including tight tolerance mechanical assemblies, electrical wire routing and cable termination.
- Align, fit, and assemble component parts, using hand tools, power tools, fixtures and appropriate shop tools.
- Install electrical and electronic parts and hardware in housings or assemblies, using soldering equipment and hand tools.
- Read blueprints, schematics, diagrams, and technical orders to determine methods and sequences of assembly.
- Test performance of electromechanical assemblies, using test instruments such as oscilloscopes, electronic voltmeters, and bridges.
- Design and build fixtures and tools.
- Run experiments to improve current processes or develop processes that enable greater shop efficiencies.
- Run test stations and do light data entry as necessary to appropriately document results.
Pay Range Minimum: $88,000 per year
Pay Range Maximum: $135,000 per year
Compensation and BenefitsA candidate’s pay within the range will depend on their work location, skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for performance‑based bonuses subject to company policies. In addition, this role is eligible for the following benefits subject to company policies: medical, dental, vision, pharmacy, life, accidental death & dismemberment, and disability insurance; employee assistance program;
401(k) retirement plan; 10 days of paid time off per year (some positions are eligible for need‑based leave with no designated number of leave days per year); and 10 paid holidays per year.
