Senior ; TLM Electrical Engineering, HPE

Responsibilities

• Lead an exceptional team of electrical engineers responsible for the development of electronics for LiDAR, Compute or a variety of hardware products
• Collaborate with numerous internal and external teams gathering requirements, defining HW architecture, modeling, and delivering LiDAR, Compute or a variety of hardware products that achieve performance and product metrics
• Guide and manage the team to build, integrate, test, and debug LiDAR, Compute or a variety of hardware products; leverage software tools and advanced test equipment (e.g. oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, network analyzers)
• Mature processes for electrical engineering product development that adhere to safety, execution and quality requirements
• Partner with mechanical, operations, and validation teams to mature high quality electrical designs to manufacturing; including supporting test infrastructure development to meet product coverage and yield targets
• Leverage deep expertise in product development (define/build/test), and have extensive prior experience launching product
• Partner closely with program management to manage project deliverables
• Partner closely with supply chain and new product introduction to identify and qualify suppliers, parts and processes
• Plan and promote a forward looking outlook to hire and develop the team to meet future product roadmap

Experience with LiDAR, Compute or a variety of hardware products Extensive experience with hardware productization: system, board and chip level implementation This role requires a bachelor’s or master’s degree with a focus in electrical or computer engineering Expertise with lab instruments (Oscilloscopes, Analyzers, DMMs, Power Supplies, and E-loads) 10+ years experience in industry developing complex electrical hardware Expertise in system architecture, signal and power integrity design and analysis, high speed signaling, grounding, analog electronics 4+ years direct, personnel leadership of electrical engineering teams including hiring, establishing best practices, managing performance and growth Strong electrical engineering fundamentals supported by the use of CAD tools to capture schematic designs, manage PCB layout, leverage Power/Signal simulation/emulation input High proficiency and ability to analyze systems for balancing electro-mechanical and EMI/EMC constraints Knowledge of automotive requirements, safety framework (ISO
26262) and qualification processes Experience with both rapid prototyping and design for manufacturing Programming and Scripting (C++, Python or equivalent) experience FPGA/ASIC Design experience
