- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 4 years of experience working in consumer electronics products, or 3 years of experience with an advanced degree.

Preferred qualifications:- 3 years of experience in embedded/mobile system design, hardware architecture, board design, board bring-up, and product NPI.
- Experience with low power and battery powered embedded mobile designs.
- Experience with broad range of PCB technologies (e.g., rigid, flex, rigid flex, etc).

The Platforms and Devices team encompasses Google's various computing software platforms across environments (desktop, mobile, applications), as well as our first party devices and services that combine the best of Google AI, software, and hardware. Teams across this area research, design, and develop new technologies to make our user’s interaction with computing faster and more seamless, building innovative experiences for our users around the world.
Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
US: $159000 - $230000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits
- Work with cross-functional teams to develop hardware architecture for next generation systems.
- Design, implement, debug and characterize embedded systems geared for mobile applications.
- Lead new design concepts through exploration, prototyping, development, and into mass production.
- Collaborate with other team members, including software, mechanical engineering, industrial design, and outside partners.
