Analytical Mechanics Associates (AMA) is seeking a Material Response Modeling Engineer to support NASA at NASA Ames Research Center, Moffett Field, CA. This on-site role develops and validates computational tools for TPS materials in extreme environments.
The successful candidate will contribute to open-source software, model ablation and material-response phenomena, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of researchers and engineers. A Ph.D. is preferred but not required.
