We are seeking a talented Senior RF Design and Test Engineer to join our Electrical Engineering Design team. In this role, you will collaborate closely with electrical, mechanical, and systems design teams, as well as our EMC and compliance groups, to deliver RF hardware that meets performance and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will bring strong compliance and validation instincts alongside solid RF and antenna design skills, ensuring hardware performs reliably and meets applicable regulatory and coexistence requirements before it ships.

Strong consideration will be given to candidates who can bridge design and validation — taking a concept from schematic and simulation through chamber characterization and compliance sign-off.

• Ensure RF designs comply with relevant military and commercial communication system standards and protocols, and support spectrum authorization/certification processes for military RF systems.
• Evaluate designs against SAR and military RF exposure limits, coordinating testing as needed.
• Assess coexistence and desense between onboard radios (e.g., UWB, GNSS, LTE) — distinguishing conducted vs. radiated coupling paths — and recommend mitigations for cross-band interference and antenna detuning.
• Bench and chamber test RF hardware and antennas (e.g., using VNAs, spectrum analyzers, signal generators, and antenna/anechoic chambers) to validate performance against requirements.
• Partner with EMC and mechanical engineering to root‑cause field or test failures that span RF, electrical and mechanical domains.
• Design RF circuits and subsystems, including front‑ends, amplifiers, filters, and transceivers; perform link budget and system‑level RF analysis, including receiver saturation and sensitivity trade‑offs.
