Director of Treasury

Overview

We are a rapidly-growing high-tech startup and are seeking a Director of Treasury to establish and lead our core treasury function. Our Director of Treasury will own day-to-day treasury operations, with a focus on building scalable infrastructure for global cash management. This is a hands-on role centered on bank accounts, cash movement, payment controls, and entity-level cash visibility across the U.S. and Europe.

• Establish and manage Swift Beat’s global banking structure, including opening and maintaining accounts across the U.S. and Europe
• Own cash positioning, daily liquidity visibility, and movement of funds between entities
• Build scalable controls and workflows for payments, approvals, and treasury operations
• Partner with Accounting to ensure accurate cash reporting, reconciliations, and month-end close alignment

• Develop short- and medium-term cash forecasting processes to support operational planning
• Monitor cash needs across entities, ensuring liquidity is available where required
• Improve treasury reporting and dashboards for leadership visibility

• Manage intercompany cash movement tied to inventory flows and operational activity
• Support treasury implications of inventory moving between legal entities across the U.S. and Europe
• Coordinate with Tax and Finance teams on entity-level cash structure and compliance considerations

• Design treasury policies, documentation, and internal controls appropriate for a scaling startup
• Implement tools and systems to automate treasury workflows as complexity increases
• Serve as the internal treasury expert supporting finance leadership as Swift Beat expands globally

• 8–12+ years of progressive treasury experience, with meaningful time in a startup or high-growth environment
• Strong expertise in foundational treasury: banking, cash movement, payments, liquidity management
• Experience operating in a physical product or inventory-driven business (manufacturing, consumer goods, retail, etc.)
• Familiarity with multi-entity structures and cross-border operations, especially across the U.S. and Europe
• Comfortable building processes from scratch in a lean, fast-paced environment
• Collaborative mindset with ability to partner closely with Accounting, FP&A, Tax, and Operations

• Swift Beat has clean, scalable banking and cash movement infrastructure across global entities
• Leadership has clear visibility into liquidity and cash requirements
• Treasury operations are controlled, efficient, and audit-ready as the company grows
• Intercompany cash flows align smoothly with inventory and operational movement across regions
