Overview
Reporting to the Vice President of Revenue Accounting, the Director of Global Solutions Group Revenue Accounting is a key member of Intuit’s finance team responsible for the end‑to‑end revenue lifecycle for the small and mid‑market business segment. This leader will ensure the integrity, accuracy, and compliance of revenue recognition under U.S. GAAP and ASC 606, driving operational excellence and automation across the revenue lifecycle.
A high‑performing team leader who works across the broader finance organization to deliver on strategic goals and to mitigate financial risk through accurate revenue reporting.
Revenue Accounting:
- Lead the Global Business Group revenue accounting function ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Own month‑end and quarter‑end close processes related to revenue recognition.
- Provide technical guidance for new product offerings, partnerships, and go‑to‑market strategies.
- Maintain internal controls and SOX compliance for all revenue accounting processes.
- Cultivate strong relationships with Accounting, Tax, and Finance leaders.
- Partner with Product, Sales, and Legal on new launches, pricing, and deal structures.
- Design and optimize the revenue operations process from contract creation to cash collection.
- Develop and execute automation strategy, partnering with technology and product leaders.
- Drive transformation of legacy finance operations using modern technologies.
- Define KPIs for revenue operations effectiveness.
- Oversee global credit and collections operations for efficient cash management.
- Develop credit policies and risk frameworks aligned to business growth.
- Monitor DSO and aging; drive continuous improvement.
- Partner with Sales and Customer Success to resolve disputes.
The Director should have deep expertise in technical revenue accounting and operations, a proven ability to influence cross‑functional stakeholders, and a track record of leading high‑performing teams.
Key Qualifications- Education
:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or equivalent strongly preferred. - Experience
:- 12+ years in revenue accounting or controllership, 10+ years in leadership.
- Manager or Senior Manager in Public Accounting.
- Experience in a public, global enterprise software or SaaS company.
- Deep understanding of ASC 606.
- Experience managing credit and collections teams.
- Systems expertise
: ERP (Oracle, SAP), billing platforms, revenue recognition engines, and advanced Excel/data analytics. - Leadership
:
Proven ability to build and inspire teams, influence partners, and drive transformation. - Communication
:
Excellent executive communication and presentation skills.
Intuit offers a competitive package with a strong pay‑for‑performance approach. Base pay ranges are:
Bay Area $256,000–$346,500;
Southern California $229,500–$310,500;
San Diego $229,500–$310,500;
Mountain View $256,000–$346,500.
