Financial Operations Analyst Position Type: 6 + month contract to (hire + multi-extension capability)
Location:
Mountain View, CA (Fully Onsite) Rate: 57.00 /hr. W2 - (Unable to support C2C)
Position Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Financial Operations Specialist / Financial Analyst to join our Strategy and Business Operations team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing financial operations processes, including managing revenue reports, tracking payment statuses, and accurately recording revenue in our systems. Your work will play a key role in supporting the smooth operation of our SPG group and ensuring the overall financial health of the organization.
Key Responsibilities- Financial Operations Management & Forecasting
- Revenue & Payment Tracking:
Manage and update the revenue/payment tracker, maintaining a detailed history of revenue amounts and payment statuses. - Forecasting Support:
Support forecasting processes by analyzing data trends and historical data to deliver actionable insights. - Invoicing & Revenue Recording:
Create and issue accurate invoices following internal policies; ensure invoices align with revenue data and record revenue accurately in systems per financial guidelines. - Accounts & Reconciliation:
Monitor accounts to identify and follow up on outstanding/overdue payments, and reconcile accounts receivable balances to ensure ongoing accuracy. - Process Improvement:
Identify and implement process improvements to streamline invoicing and revenue recording. Assist in the development and implementation of core financial operations workflows. - Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Work closely with internal finance teams and the service partnership management team to ensure accurate and timely revenue reporting and payments. Provide ad hoc financial project support and analysis for the Financial Operations Manager.
Qualifications & Skills
- Top
Required Skills:
Financial Analysis, Systems Administration, and Budget Forecasting. - Experience:
4–6 years of relevant financial and/or accounting experience. - Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, or a related field required. - Software Proficiency:
Proficient in financial software and MS Office, with advanced proficiency in Excel. - Operational Trackers:
Demonstrated ability to quickly grasp and adapt to the structure of operational trackers and tools for seamless workflow integration. - Execution:
Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational abilities, and the capacity to manage multiple tasks independently. - Communication:
Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Bilingual:
Proficiency in both English and Korean is strongly preferred.
