Compensation- Initial hourly rate ranges from $21.00 to $26.37 per hour.
- Salary depends on experience above the minimum qualifications and internal equity.
- Salary may vary by location.
- 8% License Differential for LMFT, LCSW, LPCC, PsyD, and select Peer Certifications.
- 7.5% Bilingual Differential for qualified positions.

- Provides direct services to youth and families.
- Provides billable mental health services, documents in alignment with Medi Cal regulations, and meets productivity expectations.
- Builds relationships with parents, youth, and others.
- Utilizes strengths to achieve goals and outcomes; supports family-driven, strength-based planning.
- Seizes therapeutic opportunities during crisis situations.
- Observes target behaviors, tracks progress, and modifies plans with families.
- Develops individualized, strength-based interventions and strategies.
- Engages caregivers, family members, and natural supports.
- Works community-wide to develop and implement safety and skill plans.
- Supports families in accessing community-based programs that sustain over time.
- Develops community resources for children and families.
- Assists family teams in meeting specific service needs and monitors outcomes.
- Participates in family-finding team activities, including securing authorizations, creating teams, conducting searches, and setting deadlines.
- Documents interactions and practices; maintains administrative expectations timely.
- Exceeds all direct service expectations and documentation requirements.
- Contributes to program responses for needs across multiple youths and families.
- Builds on personal strengths, concerns, and needs with balanced focus on the unit.
- Facilitates and/or co-facilitates healthy group dynamics in various settings.
- Builds cooperative, culturally responsive relationships with youth, families, and community resources.
- Performs other responsibilities as assigned to support departmental/business needs.
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
Minimum Education and Experience- High school diploma or GED.
- 1 year working with children.
- BA/BS in a related field preferred.
- Language skills in another language are highly desirable.
- Must possess a valid California driver's license and insurance, with two years experience, and maintain an insurable driving record under the agency’s liability policy.
