Pay Range: $25 – $26 per hour

We are seeking a dependable and motivated Rehab Aide to support our therapy team in delivering high-quality rehabilitation services to residents in a skilled nursing facility. This role plays an important part in ensuring therapy sessions run smoothly by assisting therapists with daily operations, preparing equipment, and supporting resident mobility. The Rehab Aide helps maintain a safe, organized, and efficient therapy environment while contributing to positive resident outcomes.

Reporting:
This position works closely with the Director of Rehabilitation and therapy staff, including Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, and Speech-Language Pathologists, to support daily rehabilitation services and resident care.

Role Overview

• Assist Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, and Speech-Language Pathologists with therapy preparation and non-clinical tasks
• Prepare, organize, and maintain therapy treatment areas and equipment
• Transport residents safely to and from therapy sessions
• Assist with maintaining cleanliness and organization of the therapy gym and equipment
• Support therapists in maintaining an efficient therapy workflow
• Help ensure a safe and positive therapy environment for residents and staff
• Follow facility policies, procedures, and infection control guidelines

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Previous experience in a skilled nursing facility
  , rehabilitation center, or healthcare setting preferred
• Ability to assist with resident mobility and transport
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to follow therapist instructions and facility protocols
• Reliable, organized, and able to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment
• Interest in rehabilitation services and supporting the geriatric population
