• Explain procedures to patients and answer questions.
• Position patient appropriately for imaging procedure.
• Maintain medical imaging equipment, ensure machines function, and organize the procedure room.
• Monitor image quality during procedures, adjusting as needed.
• Collaborate effectively with radiologists and healthcare teams.
• Follow hospital policies, safety regulations, and infection control procedures.
• Practice infection prevention: hand hygiene, PPE, and isolation precautions.
• Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of practice.

• One year’s experience as a Mammography Tech.
• Current state license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).

• Current ARRT certification.
• Other certifications and licenses may be required.

• Critical thinking, service excellence, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
• Ability to read/comprehend written instructions, follow verbal instructions, and proficiency in PC skills.
• Physical: remain stationary, move equipment 50‑100 lbs, push, pull, and bend.
• Interpersonal: work with a variety of personnel, maintain a positive attitude and professionalism.
• Technical/Motor: grasp, perform fine manipulation, push/pull, and move around during procedures.
• Mental: cope with frequent contact, meet deadlines under pressure, work under close supervision occasionally, handle irregular schedules, and maintain concentration to detail.
• Sensory: visual acuity and effective communication.
