As a Program Manager at Google, you’ll lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish — working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company.

Your projects will often span offices, time zones, and hemispheres. It’s your job to coordinate the players and keep them up to date on progress and deadlines. As the Program Manager, Pixel Portfolio Planning, you will be responsible for architecting comprehensive, long-range supply and demand models to optimize costs, inventory, and service delivery for the entire Pixel portfolio. You will guide multi-year material roadmaps for critical components, including custom silicon, memory, Electrical/RF/Wifi, and camera modules.

You will own the silicon availability model and drives the integration of Custom Silicon Operations into portfolio-wide planning to streamline procurement and manage long-term silicon delivery. You will deliver high-impact supply-demand recommendations to executive leadership, act as the definitive Subject Matter Expert during annual cycles, and designs a resilient, agile supply chain flexibility strategy. The Google Pixel team focuses on designing and delivering the world’s most helpful mobile experience.

The team works on shaping the future of Pixel devices and services through some of the most advanced designs, techniques, products, and experiences in consumer electronics. This includes bringing together the best of Google’s artificial intelligence, software, and hardware to build global smartphones and create transformative experiences for users across the world.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $126,000-$181,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
  • Design and deliver predictable program communication plans in collaboration with program stakeholders, including targeted communications by stakeholder type.
  • Determine phasing and metrics associated with program life-cycle that effectively address continuous improvement including Resource Stewardship (effective deployment of machine and people resources) in close collaboration with program stakeholders, including near- and long-term objectives.
  • Determine and collect data required to execute and govern programs effectively. Maintain project trackers and status reports. Identify and execute on program tasks including proactively managing dependencies.
  • Execute change management requirements that are identified by program stakeholders.
  • Build trusted relationships with program stakeholders, including managing expectations of program stakeholders and ensuring they have the insights they need to make effective decisions.
