Technical Program Manager

. In this pivotal role, you’ll orchestrate high-stakes technical initiatives that impact large-scale engineering organizations, serving as the Smartsheet SME and execution leader to bring clarity, rigor, and momentum to complex, multi-team programs.

• Direct and coordinate cross-functional technical programs, driving collaboration among 40+ engineers, product managers, and architects from kickoff through successful delivery
• Architect detailed project plans using advanced Smartsheet techniques, including custom workflows, formulas, and high-visibility executive dashboards
• Serve as the program’s execution authority, breaking high-level strategies into measurable engineering tasks and ensuring progress stays on critical path
• Proactively identify and address risks and interdependencies, implementing mitigation and recovery strategies before issues impact timelines
  
  Engage with technical leads to validate estimates, understand architectural decisions, and ensure resourcing aligns with organizational priorities
• Maintain clear, real-time visibility for all stakeholders on status, risk, budget, and resource allocation
• Rigorously apply program management methodologies, including WBS, capacity planning, and risk tracking

• Bachelor’s degree required
  ; advanced degree or technical certifications (PMP, PgMP) preferred
• 10+ years of program management experience, with 5+ years leading high-complexity IT initiatives in enterprise environments
• Demonstrated success orchestrating programs with 40+ engineering contributors
• Mastery of Smartsheet
  , with proven ability to build tailored dashboards, automate workflows, and deliver executive-ready reporting
• Robust technical knowledge of enterprise cloud systems (AWS, GCP, Azure)
• Strong command of resource capacity planning, milestone tracking, work breakdown structures, and risk/issue management
• Experience collaborating with or working for large technology organizations
• Background in software development or systems engineering highly desirable
