Job Description

This role will be based in Sunnyvale, Mountain View, San Francisco, New York City or Bellevue.

At Linked In, our approach to flexible work is centered on trust and optimized for culture, connection, clarity, and the evolving needs of our business. The work location of this role is hybrid, meaning it will be performed both from home and from a Linked In office on select days, as determined by the business needs of the team.

Linked In’s vision is to create economic opportunity for every member of the global workforce. Our global Product Design team advances this vision through quality, inclusive design. We're passionate about designing an equal, fair, and accessible platform that’s modern, engaging, and responsible.

Why join the Product Design team at Linked In?
  • Designers are strategic partners, from product innovation and planning to launch
  • Work and learn with passionate, talented, and supportive people
  • We work on both consumer and enterprise products and encourage team rotation, so you can stay engaged and keep growing
  • We’re equipped with the best design tools in the business, including Figma, Principle, and Miro
  • A trusting, open environment helps us do our best work…and we have fun together!
Product Design for Trust

This Staff Product Designer role will focus specifically on building and accelerating Trust & Safety systems, both for member-facing frameworks, and internal platform tools. Reporting to the Director of Trust Design, you will operate as a design leader with strong engineering depth—supporting end-to-end experience strategy while personally driving high-fidelity, implementation-quality design, front-end code, and internal tooling that accelerates our work. You will shape how Trust experiences are conceived, validated, and scaled across Linked In, especially in complex, high-risk domains.

You’ll collaborate closely with Product Designers, Product Managers, Engineers, Design Systems, and partner teams across the Linked In ecosystem to translate Trust patterns into high-quality, accessible, and cohesive implementations. This role requires strong frontend engineering skills, fluency in interaction design, and the ability to navigate complex technical, regulatory, and user-experience constraints.

We’re looking for Designers who flex into front-end, and who connect the dots between design systems, interaction patterns, and technical architecture—helping Linked In build Trust experiences that are consistent, scalable, and ultimately self-service.
