About the Role
We’re looking for a sharp, execution‑obsessed Technical Operations Associate to sit at the intersection of product strategy, commercial viability, and AI‑powered operations. This is not a traditional ops role—you’ll own the evaluation of our existing product offerings, stress‑test their unit economics, and help architect a go‑to‑market strategy that positions the company for its next phase of growth. You’ll work across Product, Engineering, Sales, Operations and Account Management—and you’ll build the tools yourself when the right ones don’t exist.
This is a high‑visibility, high‑autonomy role. Your scope expands as fast as you can deliver.
This full‑time position requires working 5 days a week in our Mountain View, CA office.
What You’ll Do
Product Offering Evaluation- Conduct rigorous operational and financial analysis of existing product lines—assessing workflows end‑to‑end to determine whether their operational costs justify revenue potential and margin profile.
- Identify product offerings that are underperforming, over‑engineered, or misaligned with market demand; build the business case to sunset, restructure, or double down.
- Partner with Product and Finance to develop and maintain unit economics models for each product line.
- Translate complex operational data into clear executive‑ready recommendations on product viability and prioritization.
- Collaborate with Sales and Account Management to evaluate current GTM motions—identifying gaps between how products are sold and how they actually deliver value.
- Build and maintain dashboards and reporting frameworks that give Sales, Product, and Leadership GTM performance and metrics across all product lines.
- Develop instrumentation and data models that track the full customer journey from first touch through expansion, enabling the team to make faster, evidence‑based decisions.
- Leverage AI tools (including LLMs) to build internal applications—such as Retool workflows, Vercel‑deployed apps, and lightweight automation—to eliminate manual processes and surface real‑time operational intelligence.
- Design and maintain ETL pipelines, automated reporting, and data workflows that keep the business operating on current, accurate information.
- Write and optimize SQL queries to extract, aggregate, and model data across relational databases in support of product and revenue analysis.
- Build interactive dashboards and BI visualizations (Retool, Looker Studio, Power BI, or equivalent) that give leadership a real‑time view of product performance and GTM health.
- Serve as the connective tissue between Product, Engineering, Sales, Finance, and Account Management—ensuring operational decisions are grounded in data and aligned with commercial goals.
- Own key operational metrics from definition through execution; productivity is measured by outcomes, not hours.
- Codify every major process improvement into a documented, repeatable playbook.
What You Have
Required- 5–8 years of experience in technical operations, product strategy, revenue operations, or a related function—ideally in a high‑growth SaaS or healthcare technology environment.
- Demonstrated ability to evaluate a product or workflow and make a clear build/fix/kill recommendation backed by financial and operational data.
- Strong command of SQL and experience working directly with data warehouses or relational databases.
- Hands‑on experience building internal tools using Retool, Vercel, or comparable platforms.
- Practical fluency with AI tools and LLMs to accelerate analysis, build lightweight applications, and automate workflows.
- Experience developing or contributing to go‑to‑market strategy—including packaging, pricing, segmentation, or onboarding design.
- Proficiency with BI tools (Looker Studio, Power BI, Tableau, or similar) and data visualization best practices.
- Background in healthcare technology, ambient documentation, or clinical workflow automation.
- Experience with JavaScript or Python for scripting and lightweight app development.
- Prior exposure to unit economics modeling, financial planning, or product‑led growth frameworks.
- Someone who sees a workflow and immediately asks whether it pays for itself.
- Comfortable operating in ambiguity and turning open‑ended questions into structured analysis.
- A builder—you prototype first and ask for resources second.
- Equally comfortable in a spreadsheet, a SQL editor, and a product strategy deck.
- Direct, clear, and persuasive when presenting to senior stakeholders.
