Sr GenAI Strategist, Generative AI Innovation Center

Overview

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is looking for experienced and motivated business-oriented technologists who possess a balance of business knowledge, interpersonal skills, and depth in analytics/big data, machine learning and generative artificial intelligence. This role focuses on helping customers enhance business or operational outcomes through advanced and emerging technologies.

You will partner with customers, AWS Sales, AWS service teams, AWS industry teams and AWS Professional Services delivery teams to craft industry-specific programs that meet customer needs and extend adoption within the industry and related sectors. You will apply a programmatic approach to help customers drive business metrics across industry-specific needs. As a trusted customer advocate, the Generative AI Strategist will assess and deliver best practices around program delivery, project approaches, and business measurement.

The ability to connect business value to a scalable, repeatable, extensible approach is critical to the Strategist role.

• Bring alignment between customer’s technologists and business leads; help them explore the art of the possible with generative AI and machine learning, and develop a roadmap to deliver business value efficiently
• Discuss complex industry-specific business concepts with executives, line managers and technologists
• Engage with various AWS teams, including applied scientists, solutions architects, business development, marketing, industry specialists, partners and regional organizations
• Drive large, complex sales opportunities from ideation through vision building, scoping, closure and delivery
• Conduct workshop sessions to identify opportunities and scope how customers could deliver business value using generative AI or machine learning

Basic Qualifications

• 7+ years of cloud architecture and solution implementation experience
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or equivalent
• 6+ years of scientists or machine learning engineers management experience
• Experience working in or supporting sales
• Experience in management consulting, strategy, technology, venture capital, or related industry
• Experience launching technical programs involving big data, analytics, artificial intelligence, and machine learning

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience presenting complex ideas in writing (white papers, proposals, or formal strategy documents)
• Master’s degree or above in Management, Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, or Marketing
• Participated in product management and marketing life cycles (directly or indirectly)
• Experience presenting to audiences of 5 to 50 people across roles and backgrounds
• Passion for educating, training, designing, and building solutions for a diverse and challenging set of customers
