- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of experience in product management or a related technical role.
- 5 years of experience taking technical products from initial concept to launch.
- Experience defining novel metrics and quantitative goals for large-scale, technically complex problems.
- Experience leading large, complex, cross-functional initiatives in highly ambiguous, zero-to-one domains.
- Technical expertise in AI/ML, Cybersecurity, and Secure Systems/Platform Architecture.
- Ability to manage a portfolio of complex, multi-year strategic bets, from research to large-scale product commercialization.
- Excellent executive communication skills, and ability to simplify complex technical, security, and infrastructure concepts for executive leadership.

Our team works closely with creative engineers, designers, marketers, etc. to help design and develop technologies that improve access to the world's information. We're responsible for guiding products throughout the execution cycle, focusing specifically on analyzing, positioning, packaging, promoting, and tailoring our solutions to our users.
In this role, you will be the single-threaded product owner responsible for the strategy that addresses the full spectrum of threats against intelligent platforms, including command/instruction injection, model extraction and anti-distillation, and novel adversarial threats targeting autonomous reasoning engines. Your scope will also include defining the product roadmap for secure execution environments, end-to-end System Integrity, and developing the foundations for long‑term scalable autonomy control.
The US base salary range for this full‑time position is $256,000–$278,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job‑related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities- Define and own the multi‑year goal, strategy, and roadmap for a portfolio of Robotics Security and Platform initiatives.
- Lead the product definition to build secure execution foundations and defend against a wide range of threats, including input manipulation/command injection, anti‑distillation, and adversarial misuse of autonomous behavior.
- Define the product roadmap for long‑term, scalable control over autonomous physical systems, in partnership with Google's foremost research and safety teams.
- Own the entire product lifecycle for these core platform and security initiatives, from navigating ambiguous early‑stage research to driving execution on large‑scale strategic bets.
- Drive strategic alignment and secure buy‑in from executive leadership (Director, VP, and SVP) across Deep Mind and Google.
