Senior Business Analyst – Mapping Operations
We’re looking for a Senior Business Analyst to join our Mapping Operations team. This role will partner closely with Program Management, Operations, and Engineering teams to enable better data‑driven decision‑making across workflows and systems.
Responsibilities- Analyze large datasets to identify trends, performance gaps, and improvement opportunities.
- Develop dashboards and reporting frameworks that provide clear visibility into operational health and system performance.
- Translate analytical findings into actionable recommendations for leadership and domain owners.
- Partner with domain owners to evaluate the impact of process and system changes through data analysis and experimentation.
- Identify root‑causes of operational inefficiencies and propose data‑driven solutions.
- Build scalable reporting pipelines to support recurring operational review and decision‑making.
- Collaborate with engineering to ensure database structure and data availability continues to enable scalable tracking of operational and system performance metrics.
- 5+ years of experience in business analytics or data analysis.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with experience working with large datasets.
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, and data visualization tools (e.g., Mode, Looker, Tableau).
- Ability to translate complex data into clear insights and recommendations.
- Experience working cross‑functionally with Operations, Program Management, and Engineering teams.
- Experience working in mapping, ML data annotations, autonomous vehicle, or large‑scale operations environments.
- Familiarity with geospatial datasets or mapping workflows.
- Experience with experiment design, A/B testing, or performance measurement frameworks.
- Knowledge of data modeling or data pipeline concepts.
The base salary range for this position is $111,000 – $178,000 per year. The successful candidate will also be eligible for an annual bonus, equity compensation, and benefits.
Work EnvironmentWe operate in a hybrid work environment. Employees are required to work in the office at least three days per week.
