Overview
Omnissa is an AI-driven digital work platform that manages millions of devices across multiple operating systems. Join our AI Platform Team as a Senior Data Scientist to build foundational AI capabilities that enable advanced analytics, machine learning, and artificial intelligence across the Omnissa product ecosystem.
Responsibilities- Design and develop advanced data science and machine learning analytics models using structured, unstructured, and semi‑structured data.
- Collaborate with engineers to build scalable data‑centric pipelines, covering all stages from data ingestion and feature extraction to training, testing, validation, inference, and continuous learning in production.
- Explore and query data, create visualizations, and perform statistical analyses to surface key relationships and attributes.
- Lead development of AI/ML solutions based on Large Language Models (LLMs), Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG), and AI agents.
- Optimize models and pipelines for performance, scalability, reliability, and cost efficiency.
- Design and implement prompt engineering strategies to improve LLM‑based application performance.
- Partner with cross‑functional teams to integrate ML solutions into core platform services and features.
- 5+ years of experience in data science or machine learning engineering roles.
- Hands‑on knowledge of supervised and unsupervised learning, classification and regression, clustering, time‑series analysis, anomaly detection, recommendation systems, reinforcement learning, information retrieval, and natural language processing.
- Highly proficient in Python and familiar with at least one other language such as Java or C++.
- Extensive experience with AI/ML libraries (Scikit‑Learn, Numpy, Pandas, Sci Py, Hugging Face Transformers).
- Hands‑on experience with LLMs, including fine‑tuning, prompt engineering, and deployment.
- Knowledge of text‑embedding models and vector databases for RAG systems.
- Experience using orchestration frameworks (e.g., Lang Chain, Lang Graph) to build AI agents and multi‑agent systems.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and distributed computing tools (Spark, Ray).
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
Mountain View, CA or Atlanta, GA – hybrid model, no travel required.
Compensation & BenefitsBase salary between USD $146,287 and $304,750 per year, with potential participation in a corporate bonus program. Omnissa offers employee ownership, health insurance, 401(k) with matching contributions, disability insurance, paid time off, growth opportunities, and more.
