Your Impact

This is a founding role at a moment when realtime AI is becoming the default interface for the next wave of consumer applications, and Inworld is well-positioned to power it. You'll shape how developers experience Inworld: build the content developers learn from, the examples they fork, and the communities that bring the next wave of builders in. Your work will turn Inworld's technical edge into developer trust, and become one of our most important distribution channels.

What You'll Do

* Own the developer relations strategy end to end to grow the awareness and adoption of Inworld by new developers, and ensure every developer on Inworld has an incredible experience.

* Collaborate with product and GTM to engage new and existing customers on best practices and integrations, synthesize learnings and develop our technical surfaces

* Build and ship integration examples, reference architectures, and sample apps that demonstrate Inworld's TTS, STT, LLM Router, and Realtime API in real-world contexts

* Create technical content that resonates with developers: tutorials, blog posts, video walkthroughs, conference talks, live demos, quick starts and guides

* Represent Inworld as a public figure in online forums, events, and leadership meetings, while developing organic growth of developer communities

* Represent Inworld at conferences, hackathons, and developer events including speaking, demoing, and running workshops

* Work closely with GTM and Product to surface developer feedback and advocate for the developer experience inside the company

* Define and track meaningful metrics: community engagement, content performance, time-to-first-integration, and other indicators you define.

What You'll Bring

* 5+ years of experience in developer relations, developer advocacy, or a closely adjacent technical role

* Strong hands-on coding ability, you write and ship real integration code, not just demos

* Hands-on with AI native development. You build with coding agents and copilots, have opinions on which tools win for which tasks

* Deep familiarity with AI/ML APIs and the real workflows around LLMs, speech, and streaming

* Exceptional technical communication skills: you can write a clear tutorial, give a compelling conference talk, and explain a latency tradeoff on a live stream

Bonus Qualifications

* Experience with voice AI, TTS, STT, or realtime audio

* Prior experience at a high-growth startup in a founding Dev Rel capacity

* Active presence in developer communities, open source contributions, a following, a newsletter, whatever form it takes

In-office location:
Mountain View, California, United States. Candidates must be based in the SF Bay Area or willing to relocate (you will be working on-site in our South Bay office a few days a week).

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $220,000 - $290,000 + bonus + equity + benefits.
