You will join a multi-disciplinary UX team, collaborating with Engineering and Product Management and leveraging user insights to create industry‑leading products.
As an Interaction Designer you’ll apply user‑centered design methods to craft industry‑leading user experiences from concept to execution, working with design partners to evolve the Google design language and build beautiful, innovative products.

- 4 years of interaction design experience in product design or UX design.
- Include a portfolio, website, or other relevant link to your work in your resume (providing a viewable link or access instructions).
- Master’s degree in Design, Human‑Computer Interaction, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience designing for AI‑driven or conversational scenarios and utilizing AI tools to streamline your own design workflow.
- Ability to manage priorities across multiple engineering teams and time zones, effectively collaborating to align on expectations and project goals.
- Ability to analyze situations from a broader system level and the desire to lead complex product redesigns, such as a future Onebox overhaul.
- In the Google Ads Advertising Platform (AP), help the Acquisitions UX team empower small and medium‑sized businesses to find new customers and achieve profitable growth.
- Execute on the team’s core challenge: make it easy for SMBs to get started with Google Ads, regardless of the Google surface they are using.
- Help customers create campaigns and develop insights, tools, and campaign‑optimization features that deliver early value.
- Apply systems thinking and emerging technology to proactively assist advertisers through complex journeys.
- Drive end‑to‑end UX execution for features that help SMBs start and survive their first year, applying design methods and processes to create consistent, user‑driven outcomes.
- Identify and communicate problems within projects; dissect problems deeply and provide strong, informed opinions on practical or creative solutions.
- Design delightful, consistent Google Ads experiences that meet customers where they are, navigating cross‑functional project constraints so the designs live natively within various platforms.
- Work with periodic support from UX Research, crafting content and copy, and leveraging internal tools and AI to enhance productivity and deliverables.
