The Amazon Web Services Professional Services (Pro Serve) team is seeking a skilled Delivery Consultant to join our team at Amazon Web Services (AWS). In this role you will work closely with customers to design, implement, and manage AWS solutions that meet their technical requirements and business objectives. You will be a key player in driving customer success through their cloud journey, providing technical expertise and best practices throughout the project lifecycle.
Possessing a deep understanding of AWS products and services, you will be proficient in architecting complex, scalable, and secure solutions tailored to meet the specific needs of each customer. You will gather requirements, assess current infrastructure, and propose effective migration strategies to AWS. As a trusted advisor, you will guide customers on industry trends, emerging technologies, and innovative solutions. You will lead the implementation process, ensuring adherence to best practices, optimizing performance, and managing risks throughout the project.
Key ResponsibilitiesThe AWS Professional Services organization is a global team of experts that help customers realize desired business outcomes using the AWS Cloud. The team works with customer teams and the AWS Partner Network to execute enterprise cloud computing initiatives, delivering focused guidance through global specialty practices that cover a wide variety of solutions, technologies, and industries.
Basic Qualifications- 3+ years of cloud architecture and solution implementation experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 2+ years of experience with Enterprise Application Modernization and Migration technologies, including Mainframe, Serverless, Containers, or Cloud Operations.
- 3+ years of programming with at least one software programming language.
- 3+ years of experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) using industry standard tooling.
- AWS Professional level certification, or Associate's degree or above.
- Experience with automation or scripting languages such as Python, Java, Perl, PHP, Ruby, Bash, Shell, or equivalent.
- Knowledge of security and compliance standards including HIPAA and GDPR.
- Experience communicating technical concepts to non‑technical audiences.
- Experience implementing cloud services including migrations and modernization projects or equivalent.
- Experience with AI/ML technologies.
- Proficiency across a wide range of AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, IAM, VPC, Cloud Formation).
