You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers.
Google Pixel is a fast paced, creative, and innovative part of Google's hardware and AI strategy. As a Product Quality Technical Program Manager, you will work across a broad range of technologies and disciplines to design, develop, and deliver consumer electronic devices. In this role, you will collaborate closely with operations, design, engineering, and supply chain teams across multiple hardware/software domains to bring innovative products and experiences to market.
You will be responsible for anticipating, identifying, and mitigating any product quality issues that have a direct impact on customer experiences.
The Google Pixel team focuses on designing and delivering the world's most helpful mobile experience. The team works on shaping the future of Pixel devices and services through some of the most advanced designs, techniques, products, and experiences in consumer electronics. This includes bringing together the best of Google's artificial intelligence, software, and hardware to build global smartphones and create transformative experiences for users across the world.
Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
US: $163000 - $237000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits

** Responsibilities*
* + Establish, deliver and maintain product quality standards, metrics, dashboards for Google hardware/consumer products and services, leveraging existing tools and processes or developing new as required.
+ Evaluate product quality during development and post launch phases of products, report product quality health, and use results to drive product and process improvements.
+ Lead failure analysis investigation of product issues by collaborating with subject matter experts. Drive cross-functional teams and track associated work-streams with ownership.
+ Analyze data sets and draw conclusions to help drive cross-functional decisions.
+ Partner with the early engagement and design teams to identify risks in next generation products, and ensure lessons from previous designs are being addressed.
