Engineering Manager, E-commerce Governance Algorithms

We are looking for an algorithm technical manager who is obsessed with customer experience and passionate about building systems to detect various risks that can sabotage platform trust.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the team to design, build, optimize e-commerce governance algorithm pipeline using NLP/CV/ML to detect and control risks in contents/creators/products/sellers in global markets
- Build, expand, and manage the global e-commerce governance algorithm team from scratch
- Collaborate with strategy team, product managers, policy team, and ops team to define products and drive initiatives from engineering viewpoints
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical field
- 7+ working experience in one of the following fields: machine learning, NLP, and computer vision
- Experience with software development in one or more programming languages
- Experience in leading an engineering team
- Experience in anti-fraud/anti-spam/platform-integrity or related fields is a big plus
- Strong sense of responsibility and good at communication and teamwork
- Passionate about solving complex and challenging problems
