Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 6+ years of experience in technical, UX, design, or related roles.
- Experience with web front-end frameworks and programming languages such as Angular, ReactJS, NextJS, Python, or Type Script.
- Experience designing across multiple platforms and collaborating with technical/design teams to construct user flows, wireframes, and prototypes.
- Portfolio, website, or link to work included in resume.
- Experience in user trust or high-sensitivity regulatory areas.
- Experience with Google3 infrastructure or cloud environments and large-scale design systems.
- Experience delivering iteratively from MVP to robust solutions.
- Ability to work collaboratively and creatively to develop technology solutions for design system workflow gaps.
- Excellent communication skills, listening, articulating positions, and challenging partners constructively.
As a Senior UX Engineer on the Advertising and Commerce team, you will act as the bridge between design and AI-driven interfaces, building prototypes, launching features, and accelerating UX teams. The role involves working with Engineering and Product Management to create industry-leading products that prioritize user experience and align with regulatory standards.
We focus on user-first design and are on a mission to reimagine workflows through AI. You will lead prototyping and development of AI-driven interfaces, ensuring accessibility, responsiveness, and human-centric design.
Responsibilities- Drive project work by implementing and updating the user experience through code.
- Participate in meetings with stakeholders (product managers, software engineers) and provide technical input in user experience decisions.
- Identify user experience and technical issues; develop prototypes from functional/technical specifications.
- Evaluate potential and feasibility for new features by prototyping, soliciting feedback, and analyzing problems from a broader technical perspective.
- Collaborate with UX designers, researchers, and strategists to build core features, fix usability issues, write documentation, and onboard new users to the tools.
US: $159,000 - $231,000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits.
