This role is located Mountain View, CA where we prefer onsite 5 days a week in office.

As the Senior IT Engineer
, you will be responsible for architecting, scaling, and maintaining Skylo’s internal IT infrastructure, corporate networks, and employee productivity tools. You will act as a senior technical anchor—bridging day‑to‑day corporate IT operations with the advanced needs of our cross‑continental engineering and operations teams.

The ideal candidate possesses deep technical proficiency in modern Identity and Access Management (IAM), cloud‑first fleet management (MDM), and enterprise networking, along with a forward‑thinking mindset that leans heavily into automation and AI tools.

• Infrastructure & Cloud Operations:
  Work with India and Finland IT team to Own, monitor, and scale Skylo’s global IT footprint across offices in the US, Finland, and India. Manage cloud productivity suites (Google Workspace/Enterprise) and essential SaaS tools (Slack, Jira/Confluence, Git Hub, Zoom).
• Identity & Fleet Management:
  Design and optimize role‑based access controls (RBAC) and user lifecycle workflows via modern IAM platforms (e.g., Okta). Manage and secure a highly distributed, mixed‑OS fleet (primarily macOS with some Windows) utilizing advanced MDM solutions (Jamf, Kandji, Intune).
• Enterprise Networking:
  Implement and maintain robust, high-performance corporate office network infrastructure. Ensure maximum uptime and security using firewalls, VPNs, Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA), VLANs, and enterprise Wi‑Fi 6 environments.
