About the role

As the User Experience (UX) AI Transformation Lead for Health and Home, you will serve as a premier design leader and strategist, reporting directly to the Head of UX. Bridging human‑centered design and machine intelligence, you will connect industry‑wide AI innovations with grassroots team workflows to help the organization evolve into an AI‑native design team. As a trusted leadership advisor, you will guide partners through technical shifts, using your UX mastery and AI literacy to redefine how teams collaborate and deliver value.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of experience in product design or UX.
  • Experience in leveraging large language models (LLMs), generative design tools, and APIs for workflow automation.
  • Experience working with AI, intelligent assistants, generative language, or image models.
  • Experience designing for AI‑powered systems and agentic technologies.
  • Include a portfolio, website, or any other relevant link to your work in your resume (providing a viewable link or access instructions).
Preferred qualifications
  • Master’s degree in Design, Human‑Computer Interaction, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 7 years of experience working in a complex, cross‑functional organization.
  • 5 years of experience working with executive leaders.
  • Experience navigating the technical and operational nuances of the global payments landscape, including complex integration cycles with issuers and card networks.
  • Deep understanding of how to scale AI solutions across disparate markets while maintaining regional compliance and country‑specific UX standards.
  • Ability to translate complex technical AI concepts into actionable concepts and strategies for non‑technical stakeholders.
Responsibilities
  • Act as the primary bridge to industry advancements and Google‑wide AI networks, bringing tools, methods, and early alpha/beta features back to the team.
  • Lead the exploration of next‑generation user experiences, moving beyond traditional screens toward proactive, agentic, and highly personalized interaction models.
  • Build and optimize AI‑driven processes across all UX functions (Design, Research, Content, and Program Management) to eliminate manual toil.
  • Integrate AI into the Product Development Lifecycle (PDLC) to compress the time between concept and launch without sacrificing user value or craft.
  • Serve as a core advisor to leadership on the long‑term implications of AI regarding user trust, product differentiation, and brand strategy.
