Director of Information Technology - Mountain View, CA

For our client, we are seeking a Director Of Information Technology - Mountain View CA to join the team of a leader in the Manufacturing & Automotive space. This role will lead work at the intersection of data, AI-enabled capabilities, and scalable technology delivery. You will work across engineering, product, operations, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into practical technology solutions.

The position offers the opportunity to influence architecture, execution quality, and the technology capabilities that enable long-term growth within a manufacturing environment.

Location:

Mountain View, CA - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $227,200 – $307,400 annually

• Oversee global hybrid cloud infrastructure, prioritizing security
• Lead network engineering initiatives including SD-WAN and zero-trust segmentation
• Manage compliance and certification processes for ISO
  27001 and TISAX
• Develop incident response plans and security policy frameworks
• Direct enterprise software portfolio management and SaaS lifecycle tasks
• Integrate PLM and engineering tools with existing infrastructures
• Govern AI tooling usage and manage related expenditures

• 10+ years in IT and infrastructure leadership, with 4 years as a director or functional CISO
• Hands-on expertise in network architecture and cloud security
• Experience managing distributed teams across time zones and cultures
• Direct ownership of ISO 27001 or TISAX certifications
• Strong skills in communicating technical risks to executives
• CISSP or CISM certification preferred
  
  Background in hardware manufacturing or automotive sectors a plus
