Mountain View, CA 6+ Months Insurance client
An Automation Engineer with strong development of products or automation tests or tools in Java environment.
Technical Skills- 5+ years of experience in development of products or automation tests or tools in Java environment.
- Good knowledge of SQL.
- Experience with web-services testing.
- Experience developing shell scripts (or any other scripting language) in Unix or Linux.
- Experience with tools such as Load Runner, JMeter, TestNG, Ant, junit, Nunit.
- Experience in J2EE environments and agile development methodologies.
- Experience in designing and running stress, load, scalability and performance tests on web applications and backend systems.
- Maintain and enhance the automation framework and test suite using tools such as SoapUI, Sahi and help develop new tools.
- Use automation to implement test cases and scenarios.
- Analyze results of the automation tests, help in debugging to determine root cause of failures.
- Assist other engineers to create automation tests.
- Resolve technical issues of projects and explore alternate designs
- Participates as a team member and fosters teamwork by inter-group coordination within the modules of the project.
- Effectively collaborates and communicates with the stakeholders and ensure client satisfaction
- Train and coach members of project groups to ensure effective knowledge management activity.
- Somebody who has 4-8 years of work experience.
- Education qualification:
B.Tech, BE, BCA, MCA, M. Tech or equivalent technical degree from a reputed college.
