• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 10 years of experience in product design or UX.
• 5 years of experience leading design projects and managing people or teams.
• 3 years of work experience working with executive leaders.
• Experience working on e-commerce platforms/products.

As an Interaction Designer, you'll apply user-centered design methods to craft industry-leading user experiences from concept to execution, working with design partners to evolve the Google design language to build beautiful, innovative products.

As the UX Designer for Shopping, you will lead the team responsible for building a personal shopper for everyone. You will guide the design outlook and strategy for cohesive shopping experiences across Google's core products, including Search, Image Search, and Gemini. This role requires fostering deep collaboration with leadership partners across numerous product areas such as Ads, Search, Gemini, You Tube, Google Pay, and Photos, to bring this unified outlook to life.

In this role, you will be operating as both an IC (75%) and manager (25%) of a small team. You will primarily be on IC work. Because of the nature of the role, candidates will be interviewed as ICs and will be expected to demonstrate IC skills. Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
