Job Description

This role will be based in Mountain View, CA.

At Linked In, our approach to flexible work is centered on trust and optimized for culture, connection, clarity, and the evolving needs of our business. The work location of this role is hybrid, meaning it will be performed both from home and from a Linked In office on select days, as determined by the business needs of the team.

We are seeking a Manager, Technical Program Management to join our Product Services Marketplace (PSM) TPM organization. In this role, you will lead and develop a team of Technical Program Managers while partnering closely with senior R&D leaders to define, prioritize, and drive complex portfolios. You will establish and evolve program management governance, execution frameworks, and operating rhythms that enable successful delivery across large, cross‑functional teams.

Our Products and Services Marketplace (PSM) vision is to become the definitive B2B commerce platform for all organizations worldwide, empowering marketers, sellers, buyers, users and customers to drive better outcomes for themselves and their businesses. The PSM strategy recognizes that we will continue to deliver value to our LMS (Linked In Marketing Solutions) and LSS (Linked In Sales Solution) businesses, and that the lion’s share of our investment will be going to directly drive growth in these two areas.

At this level, the ideal candidate can clearly articulate complex tradeoffs, dependencies, and interactions that influence program outcomes and coach the team to do the same. You bring a strong balance of people leadership, organizational rigor, and technical depth, and you are effective in driving alignment and execution in highly matrixed environments where authority is not assumed. Success in this role requires demonstrated experience leading teams and large programs, influencing across organizational boundaries, and consistently delivering high‑impact results.

Responsibilities
  • Own and drive a strategic portfolio of programs that advance PSM and company objectives, with clear accountability for business outcomes.
  • Build, coach, and develop a high‑performing TPM team, setting a high bar for ownership, execution excellence, and craftsmanship while serving as a visible role model.
  • Lead from the front on complex, high‑impact initiatives, staying hands‑on to drive clarity, momentum, and results.
  • Partner closely with Director Product and Engineering leaders to influence strategy, priorities, and trade‑offs, and to improve execution efficiency at scale.
  • Act as the execution DRI for the portfolio by managing dependencies, risks, conflicts, and escalations to ensure sustained forward momentum.
  • Champion modern, pragmatic execution practices including Agile operating rhythms and AI‑enabled workflows, applying the right level of process to maximize speed and impact.
  • Create a culture of autonomy, transparency, and continuous learning where teams are empowered to think big, move fast, and raise the bar.
  • Represent the business area with credibility and conviction, providing crisp portfolio health updates and influencing stakeholders through data, judgment, and leadership presence.
Qualifications Basic Qualifications
  • B.S./B.A. in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of people management experience managing technical and/or technical program management teams.
  • 3 years of full-time program management experience within an Engineering department.
  • Experience managing infrastructure‑based programs or projects.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience leading large‑scale consumer and enterprise…
