Position: Senior Manager, People Programs

Senior Manager, People Programs – Lead the Program Management team to drive critical initiatives across the People Organization.

In this role, you will
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of high‑performing Program Managers, setting expectations and fostering a culture of high agency and accountability.
  • Partner with People Leadership to prioritize initiatives and ensure resources are allocated to the most impactful programs.
  • Translate loose concepts into thoughtful program plans, defining objectives, timelines, and success metrics.
  • Standardize methodology, tools, and reporting cadences to enable the People Team to move fast and execute with excellence.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for senior leadership on People initiatives, presenting high‑level strategic narratives and business reviews.
  • Oversee change management and communications for People Program changes across the company, mitigating program collisions and maintaining sustainable pace of change.
  • Collaborate strategically with cross‑functional partners such as IT, Finance, and Legal to align stakeholders and People Programs.
  • Remove blockers and streamline processes to increase the effectiveness and efficiency of the PM team and the larger People Team.
Required Qualifications
  • 8‑10+ years of experience in program management, preferably in HR, and 3+ years managing a team of PMs in a high‑growth tech environment or top‑tier consulting firm.
  • Ability to see the big picture, connecting initiatives across the talent lifecycle and understanding cross‑dependencies.
  • Proficiency in building structures that resolve ambiguity for teams.
  • Strong data‑driven decision‑making skills, comfortable with HR analytics and systems such as Workday and Greenhouse, and able to defend program priorities and measure ROI.
  • Coaching mindset that prioritizes team success, talent development, and resilient culture.

The base salary range for this position is $147k – $238k per year. Successful candidates will also be eligible for an annual bonus, equity compensation, and benefits.
