Contract Manager
Accenture LLP has multiple openings for the position of Contract Manager in Mountain View, CA, and the job duties are as follows:
- Liaise with account leadership, client, commercial and business stakeholders to understand client contract needs and priorities, and support account strategy, objectives, and opportunities.
- Manage, mentor, and develop contract management supporting team members taking responsibility for all performance management activities.
- Responsible for identification, escalation and resolution of commercial and contract risks and issues working with leadership to ensure the best outcome for all parties.
- Support pre-award sales activities, assist with deal shaping, negotiate commercial and contractual outcomes with sales teams and business leadership, including contract drafting support.
- Build trusted relationships with internal and external clients.
- Review and manage contractual obligations of the parties and provides continual review to ensure that all terms and conditions are met.
- Prepare and disseminate information regarding contract status, compliance, modifications, etc.
- Act as the primary contact between the project team and/or business unit and Legal, ensuring that all legal and contractual matters are addressed efficiently and promptly.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
Must have a bachelor's degree in Finance, Management, Business Administration, Legal Studies, Pre-Law, Political Science, or a related field, plus 5 years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in Contract Management.
Must have 5 years of experience in each of the following:
- Managing complex projects with a large cross-border team to ensure contract compliance and risk mitigation;
- Supporting compliance in regulatory, tax, trade, and data privacy policies;
- Building relationships and governance with internal business teams and clients;
- Collaborating with internal or external client executives to influence and drive key commercial decisions and negotiate contracts;
- Reviewing and negotiating complex commercial contract regulations, focusing on force majeure, dispute resolution, and payment terms;
- Drafting commercial terms conditions for clients and subcontractors; and
- Implementing contract lifecycle management principles.
Must have willingness and ability to travel domestically approximately 80% of the time to meet client needs.
Pursuant to the California Transparency Bill, the offered wage for this role is $ per year.
