Materials Program Manager; MPM

Overview

Materials Program Manager (MPM). Looking for a solid Materials Program Manager to support an autonomous vehicle company s Supply Chain department. This person should have a background in materials planning and understand the key vendors involved in electronics components, mechanical components, automotive components, etc.

• Primary task: manual demand planning (Manual MRP experience) using Excel/Google Sheets; there is no SAP/ERP/SW suite used; this is all manual production planning/Manual MRP through Excel/Sheets.
• Understand and manage CTB (Clear To Build) reports, also known as shortage or build status reports; CTB essentially functions as MRP; build in batches/lot production terms.
• Experience with Manual Demand Planning, Manual Production Planning, Manual MRP.
• Analyze manufacturing build plans against inventory/supply chain data to determine materials replenishment demand.
• Retrieve quotes from suppliers and submit POs.
• Manage delivery schedules to ensure materials arrive ahead of required dates.
• Track and mitigate excess and obsolescence.
• Read and understand bills of materials (BOMs) and maintain inventory accuracy.
• Strong knowledge of MRP system functionality.

• Degree in Supply Chain or similar is ideal.
• Advanced spreadsheet/Excel skills; ability to generate complex dashboards, tools, and reports. Proficiency with formulas such as VLOOKUP, SUMIF, COUNTIF, IFERROR, INDEX, MATCH, MIN, etc.
• Experience as a Materials PM, Buyer/Planner, Materials Planners, or similar.
• Ability to read BOMs and manage inventory accuracy.
• Strong knowledge of MRP functionality.

Estimated Min Rate: $40.00/hr;
Estimated Max Rate: $45.00/hr these ranges depend on work experience.
