Sandblast Operator

Salary Range: $20/ per hour

This Position is to fill an upcoming vacancy.

• Follows activity Instructions

Cleans parts using the Sandblast Cabinet and equipment.

R esponsible for minor maintenance and up-keep of the machinery .

Uses safety precautions when using blasters .

Is responsible for keeping the machine and the surrounding area clean .

• Visual Inspection of parts to help ensure they meet customer requirements.
• Maintains the necessary stock of materials for the area to maximize productivity
• Maintains necessary documentation
• Willing to be cross trained in other roles/departments
• Other duties as assigned

• Must be able to grip/hold small tools for long periods of time. Able to use and control hand tools with vibration and wear appropriate gloves for personal protection.
• Able to work in a loud environment; where continuous use of hearing protection is mandatory.
• Meticulous and detail oriented
• Able to follow direction
• Priority and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and part of a team. Must read, write, and comprehend verbal and written activity instructions. Reads and understands sketches, designs, and plans.
• Ability to use measuring instruments.
