Job Description
We are seeking a hands‑on Sr. Manufacturing Engineer who will ensure successful accomplishment of product manufacturing processes, assembly, test and documentation to meet quality, cost, and schedule objectives. The Engineer will be a member of an integrated product team for existing products and new product introductions.
Responsibilities- Support production team to resolve technical issues.
- Generate manufacturing and test documentation for first‑time builds and investigate hardware failures or out‑of‑spec conditions.
- Assist and resolve manufacturing issues impacting production runs.
- Address manufacturing challenges by troubleshooting issues and providing timely solutions.
- Develop and maintain manufacturing processes, test procedures, and documentation; provide training, technical guidance, and mentoring to junior engineers.
- Communicate complex technical issues, in writing and orally, to multiple levels of management and production operators.
- Resolve manufacturing constraints to ensure accurate and consistent assembly and test performance.
- Troubleshoot and tune RF microwave circuits down to the component level.
- Collaborate with design engineers to optimize circuit performance and manufacturability.
- Perform root‑cause analysis and implement corrective actions for production issues.
- Own Continuous Improvement initiatives, including cost‑reduction strategies, first‑pass yield enhancement, and non‑conformance reduction.
- Responsible for obsolescence redesign and qualification, ensuring legacy product support and compliance with current standards.
- BSEE or higher with minimum 5 years of experience as a Manufacturing or Design Engineer in RF Microwave electronics manufacturing, including assembly and test or related field.
- Strong knowledge of RF microwave electronics circuitries and components.
- Proficient in RF/Microwave tuning and ability to tune and align complex RF circuitry under a microscope.
- Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, hands‑on manufacturing environment.
- Strong communication skills – speaking, writing, and presentation.
- Strong leadership skills with ability to establish effective working relationships at all management levels.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products for data‑driven reports.
- US Citizen and able to attain Security Clearance.
