CNC Machinist - Mountain View, CA; Onsite

We are looking for an experienced CNC Machinist with strong hands-on shop floor expertise to support precision manufacturing and prototype development.

• 9–11 years of hands-on workshop/shop-floor experience.
• Strong expertise in CNC Programming (G-Code), Setup, and Machine Operation
  .
• 80% of the work involves CNC Milling
  —extensive experience is mandatory.
• Hands-on experience with 5-Axis CNC Milling
  .
• Experience with CNC Mills, CNC Lathes, CNC Routers, Manual Machines, Lasers, 3D Printers, and Waterjet Machines
  .
• Ability to manufacture precision parts with tight tolerances (±0.020 mm or better).
• Experience with milling, drilling, welding, cutting, and waterjet operations
  .
• Strong troubleshooting and preventive maintenance experience for CNC equipment.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced workshop environment.

• Program, set up, and operate CNC machines using G-Code
  .
• Manufacture high-precision components to engineering specifications.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and technical documentation.
• Design and fabricate tooling and fixtures as required.
• Assemble precision electro-mechanical systems and mechanical assemblies.
• Support prototype fabrication from concept through final assembly.
• Maintain machine shop equipment and ensure proper inventory of tools and materials.
• Manage multiple fabrication projects while meeting aggressive timelines.
• Select appropriate materials based on machining and application requirements.

• Experience with CAD software (Creo preferred).
• Strong understanding of DFMA principles.
• Experience working in R&D, prototype, or advanced manufacturing environments.
