Position

Summary

The Electro-Mechanical Assembly Specialist plays a critical role in building, integrating, and testing our hydrogen production and power electronic systems. This hands-on position requires a blend of mechanical dexterity and electrical expertise to take complex clean energy systems from the ground up to the field.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build and integrate advanced electrolyzers, fuel cell systems, and associated balance-of-plant (BOP) equipment from scratch.
  • Perform high-quality wire termination, routing, and crimping for both high-voltage and low-voltage systems.
  • Handle manual bending and installation of hydrogen, fluidics, and hydraulics lines.
  • Partner with the engineering team to author, refine, and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for early-stage production.
  • Utilize multimeters, insulation testers (megger), and diagnostic tools to perform system-level quality checks and troubleshooting.
  • Adhere strictly to environment, health, and safety (EHS) protocols, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures, ensuring a safe manufacturing environment.
Required Skills & Experience
  • Diploma, ITI, or Associate degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or equivalent hands-on industry experience.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a fast-paced hardware manufacturing environment (e.g., EV, AV, BESS, solar, aerospace, or automotive).
  • Strong ability to read, interpret, and build from complex electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and system diagrams.
  • Familiarity with calibrated crimping tools, multi-meters, meggers, and hand tools for fluidics/hydraulics bending.
  • Proven experience working safely with a mix of high-voltage and low-voltage components.
  • System-level thinker who thrives in a lean, early-stage environment and possesses a "build from the ground up" mentality.
