With a suite of industry‑leading software products serving hundreds of millions of consumers, small businesses, and accounting professionals across the globe, they are one of the most recognized and trusted names in fintech and business software.

Job Description

We are seeking a Principal Marketing Manager to join our client's Marketing Craft Development & Capabilities team — a team at the forefront of transforming how world‑class marketing gets done s is not a campaign execution role. This is a marketing systems design role, and the impact will be felt across the entire global marketing organization. You will be the architect behind codifying "The Way of Marketing" — building the frameworks, artifacts, and operating models that enable hundreds of marketers to work smarter, faster, and with greater alignment across brands.

Day‑to‑day, you'll be designing and optimizing GTM artifacts, standardizing ways of working across four major brands, facilitating stakeholder alignment sessions with senior marketing leaders, and developing curriculum for the internal Marketer Craft Academy. You'll report into the Director of Craft Development & Capabilities and partner heavily with the Global Business Solutions Group (GBSG), with Quick Books as your primary brand focus.

Your work will also touch marketing, product, research, analytics, sales, and operations teams — making cross‑functional influence a core part of the job.

The ideal candidate is a systems thinker who gets energized by building things that make others more effective. You're someone who has worked inside a large, matrixed organization and left behind frameworks, playbooks, and operating models — not just campaigns. If you're passionate about elevating marketing craft, embedding AI into modern marketing workflows, and influencing how an enterprise‑level organization executes at scale, this role was built for you.

Duties

  • Refine and codify Ways of Working (WoW) frameworks and artifacts to drive alignment and scalable execution across brands
  • Standardize core GTM artifacts such as MRDs and GTM strategy documents across all GTM phases
  • Facilitate stakeholder sessions to surface process gaps, align expectations, and validate new frameworks
  • Serve as the primary subject matter expert for the Marketer Craft Academy, developing curriculum that codifies marketing best practices
  • Lead the launch of foundational Core courses and support the development of Applied and Advanced learning tracks
  • Partner with GenAI experts to build AI‑enabled learning tools and always‑on coaching experiences for marketers
  • Act as a strategic thought partner to senior marketing leaders, translating complexity into clear, actionable strategies
  • Drive adoption of new frameworks through change management, storytelling, and feedback loops
  • Define and track success metrics including adoption rates, NPS, and business impact
  • Continuously iterate on learning experiences to maximize value and adoption across the organization
  • Stay current on industry trends to evolve marketing craft, workflows, and capabilities
Required Experience & Skills
  • 8-10+ years of experience in Brand, Product, or Performance Marketing.
  • Experience working in a matrixed environment.
  • Proven track record of designing frameworks, artifacts, templates, and systems that accelerate GTM execution
  • Strong systems thinking skills with the ability to identify patterns, reduce friction, and build for scale
  • Deep understanding of end‑to‑end GTM motions and cross‑functional orchestration
  • Exceptional facilitation skills and the ability to influence senior leaders and execution teams without direct authority
  • Experience building or supporting marketing capability programs, centers of excellence, or enablement functions
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to simplify complex concepts
