The OpportunityAs a Major Gifts Officer, you will play a central role in shaping and advancing PPMM’s major gift program for both our 501(c)(3) and 501(c)(4) organizations within your assigned region. You will manage and grow relationships with donors capable of giving $10,000–$100,000+ , serving as a strategic partner, storyteller, and steward.

- Lead the identification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of major gift donors and prospects.
- Develop and execute regional fundraising strategies aligned with organizational goals and best practices inmovesmanagement.
- Build and manage a portfolio of major donors with care, intention, andlong ‑ term vision.
- Create individualized engagement and solicitation strategies that connect donor values to organizational priorities.
- Represent PPMM to influential donors, community leaders, and public audiences asa senior fundraiser.
- Partner with leadership and volunteers on meaningful donor engagement opportunities and solicitations.
- Ensure exceptional stewardship, includingtimelyacknowledgment, impact reporting, and recognition.
- Track donor activity and progress using fundraising software and contribute to thoughtful goal ‑ setting, forecasting, and reporting.
- Plan donor meetings and cultivation events with support from the Development Team.
You will steward both C3 and C4 philanthropy , expanding your skill set and strategic exposure You’ll have real ownership over a donor portfolio—not just tasks You’ll work in amission ‑ driven environment where fundraising is deeply respected You’ll help shape the future of reproductive healthcare access in our communities
What We’re Looking ForRequired:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Fundraising experience , including success in individual and/or major gifts
- Strong relationship ‑ building skills with donors, volunteers, and community partners
- Excellent written, verbal, and public speaking abilities
- Knowledge of professional fundraising practices and donor engagement strategies
- Comfort managing multiple priorities in afast ‑ paced, evolving environment
- Familiarity with fundraising databases and CRM systems
Preferred:
- Background in complex ormission ‑ driven organizations
- Creativity, flexibility, and a collaborative spirit
