Health Sensor Test Technician Scope
- Set up and execute validation tests, test fixtures, and laboratory equipment.
- Set up and maintain hardware R&D lab spaces, equipment, tools, and materials.
- Track, organize, and maintain test devices and related assets.
- Assemble, maintain, repair, and rework test fixtures and devices.
- Provide hands-on engineering test support for PPG, ECG, and cEDA sensor development.
- Support validation and characterization testing for NPI, NTI, and engineering debug activities.
- Collaborate with engineers on data collection, Design of Experiments, risk assessment, and technology improvement.
- Create and execute test protocols, data collection procedures, and data-processing scripts.
- Install device firmware, verify device readiness, and support testing with human participants.
- Organize and store test data according to team procedures and perform data quality checks and analysis.
- Document fixture, protocol, and device issues and support debugging and continuous test improvement.
- Hands-on experience with electronics, laboratory equipment, test fixtures, or hardware validation.
- Experience setting up and maintaining lab environments.
- Ability to follow test protocols, collect data, and maintain accurate documentation.
- Experience using productivity tools such as Google Sheets, Docs, and Drive.
- Ability to work with large datasets and maintain organized data records.
- Strong attention to detail and troubleshooting skills.
- Experience with Python, Colab, or data-processing scripts.
- Experience with embedded systems, firmware installation, or device readiness testing.
- Experience drafting test procedures or Standard Operating Procedures.
- Experience with PPG, ECG, cEDA, or other health-sensor technologies.
- Experience supporting human-participant data collection.
- Experience with Design of Experiments, data quality analysis, or sensor characterization.
Estimated Min Rate: $35.00
Estimated Max Rate: $40.00/hr+ Depends on work experience
