Deep Mind is looking for a Research Scientist to join their team in Mountain View, CA, USA or New York, NY, USA. The position offers a competitive salary range of $174,000 - $253,000 (USD) plus a 15% bonus target, equity, and benefits.
Minimum qualifications include a PhD in Machine Learning, Computer Science, or a relevant field, or equivalent practical research experience. You should have 2 years of experience in large language model post-training algorithms and infrastructure, with a focus on JAX.
Preferred qualifications include a proven track record of research excellence with publications at venues like NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR, or significant industry contributions.
As a Research Scientist, you'll setup large-scale tests and deploy promising ideas quickly and broadly, managing deadlines and deliverables while applying the latest theories to develop new and improved products, processes, or technologies. You'll also actively contribute to the wider research community by sharing and publishing your findings.
