Our client, a technology company specializing in geospatial products, mapping platforms, and enterprise location-based tools, is looking to hire a UX Researcher in Mountain View, CA.

UX Researcher

Mountain View, CA (Hybrid)

Contract role for 9 months

• Plan and conduct qualitative user research, including interviews, usability studies, and surveys to uncover user needs and behaviors.
• Analyze and synthesize research findings into clear recommendations, reports, presentations, and highlight reels for cross-functional stakeholders.
• Partner with Product, Design, Engineering, and Program Management teams to shape research plans and drive product decisions.
• Support participant recruiting and onboarding while coordinating research logistics and execution.
• Contribute to literature reviews, desk research, and broader UX research initiatives across the team.

• BA/BS degree in Anthropology, Human-Computer Interaction, Human Factors, Psychology, Sociology, or a related research, scientific, or engineering field.
• 2+ years of applied UX/user research experience in a professional setting after graduation or formal training.
• Hands-on experience conducting qualitative research methods such as user interviews, usability testing, and survey-based research.
• Strong ability to communicate research findings through presentations, reports, and stakeholder discussions.
